Wednesday Home Learning- Hobbits Class

Good morning Hobbits!

I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing Science in our first Zoom and RE in our second and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Have a wonderful day.

Our theme in reflection this week is

Listen to this song and light a candle (with a grown ups permission) and take this moment to calm and quiet.

Can you write a small prayer and share it with someone in your house?

This week in English we are going to have some investigative fun!

You have two days (Wednesday and Thursday) in your English lesson to find out and answer all of the clues.

Have fun detectives!

We are focussing on Prepositions.

Today we are focussing on Prepositional Phrases.

Listen to this song.

Can you create a poster on what a Prepositional Phrase is.

  • Try to do 30 minutes of Times Tables Rockstars- I shall be monitoring your progress!

Our focus this week is Multiplication.

Today is Multiplication by Colouring.

The sheet is at the bottom of the page.

You have the rest of the week to finish these sheets.

See you on Zoom at 1!

Our topic is about the church year.

Today we are focussing on The Christian's life journey of prayer.

Prayer is a very important part of any Christians life.

Prayer allows us to have a conversation with God in our own different way.

Your Task is to create a Prayer Area whether this be a drawing or a physical area in your house that is a good place for you to be calm and quiet so you have a place to talk to God.

I would love you to send me pictures of your areas/drawings to put on our gallery!

See you on Zoom at 11!

Our topic in science is called Animals Including Humans.

Today we are looking at Researching about a specific part of the body.

Your Task is to using your researching skills choose a part of the Human Body (inside or out) and create a poster on that part of the body.

You can present it in any way you want but it needs to have:

  • At least one picture.
  • At least 3 facts.
  • A title.

For example you could choose the Lungs.

You could present it like this.

Have fun scientists!

Keep in contact my email is send me pictures, your work or just for a chat!

Stay safe.

Lots of love,

Miss Storti xx
