Use the patterns/squiggly lines found in the resources or you can create your own and use a cotton bud or something similar and some paint and try and follow along the lines, being as careful as you can. You could always then create your very own beautiful pattern using the same technique. Happy painting. 

Reading:

Have a read of all of the tricky words found on the tricky word’s poster found in the resources. Can you remember all of the tricky words? Can you find some of these tricky words in one of your reading books?

English:

Do you remember any names of the planets? Can you describe any of the planets? There are some pictures of the planets in the resources, have a look at them and think about each one. Can you think of a describing word for each one e.g., red, big etc? Choose your favourite planet and write a sentence to describe it, remembering to use your sounds and a full stop. You can also use the space word mat to help if you like (found in the resources). If you have time, create a picture to go with your picture. 

Maths:

We are continuing to think about 2d shapes and their names. Can you name all of the shapes found on the shapes poster in the resources? Have a look around your home and see if you can find anything like these shapes, e.g., the bottom of a cup is a circle. When you have found some shapes, spend some time drawing around them. Can you label your shapes?

Phonics:

Revise all of your phase 2 sounds and the phase 3 sounds that we have learnt so far: j, v, w and z, x, y, qu, ch and th.

Afternoon activity:

Can you make your very own paper plane that you can use as your own space plane? Once your paper space plane has been made, decorate with aliens, space patterns etc and then see how far your space plane can fly?
