Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Matthew 21:22“Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Matthew 21:22

Sit quietly for a few minutes and listen to some calming music.  Think about prayer and what it means to pray.  You can think of a prayer to say with your grown up.

You can see the input for this lesson on Zoom at 9.30 (details of log in have been sent on the App).

The Great Fire of London

Learning Objective:  I can find out about events beyond living memory that are significant nationally or globally.

After our Zoom session, can you write down some facts about the Great Fire of London?  You can watch the video clip above to remind you or you can look at the PowerPoint attached below. How did it start?

  • How was it eventually put out?

  • What did the people living in London do?

  • What good came out of the whole experience?

(There is also a page border for you to use at the bottom of this page.)

Today’s phonics session will be at 11am on Zoom.  Please see log in details that were sent in an App message.

our sound today is "ue" as in Sue, blue, glue.

Recapping tricky words oh, their, people, Mr, Mrs, asked, called.

Learning Objective: I can write instructions.

Resources for this lesson: bread, butter, marmalade, knife

Paddington Bear loves marmalade sandwiches.  Please write a set of instructions to tell Mrs Brown how to make a marmalade sandwich.

  • Think about what ingredients she will need.
  • What will she have to do first, next, after that and finally.
  • Then try out your instructions to see whether the sandwich turns out ok.  Then you can eat it!

There is a PowerPoint attached below that you can look at to check your instructions.

Learning Objective: I can recall the names of 2D and 3D shapes.

Play the video of Day 1 - Do you want to build a Snowman?

Follow the instructions in the video.  You will need paper and pen and if you are at home, perhaps you have some play dough?

Have fun!
