I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing Science in our first Zoom and English in our second and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Today we are finishing our stories. 

Make sure that you answer any and all questions that the reader may have about how the story is going to end. 

 

You can choose how your ending is going to be is it going to be Happily Ever After or is it going to end differently? 

 

The choice is up to you! 

 

The ending must be at least 3 sentences and if you want to give yourself a challenge you cna leave it on a cliffhanger. 

 

I can't wait to see the completed stories.

 

Make sure that the story flows on from one another and makes sense with all that amazing vocabulary and presentation. 

 

SPaG/GPS

We are focussing on adverbs.

Today we are focussing on adverbs to express Time, Place and Cause. 

Use your previous knowledge to help you. 

There is a worksheet at the bottom of the page you have 2 days to complete (Wednesday and Friday) it so don't rush then mark your answers!

You have 15 minutes to complete your sheet, take your time and think carefully. Don't forget about your presentation!

Our topic in science is called Animals Including Humans.

Today we are looking at why animals need to eat different foods?

 

There are lots of different reasons why animals eat different things. 

You are going to look into different animals and what they eat and why.

Your Task is going to involve our Science Skills of Researching.

You are going to tell me about a kind of food or animal depending on your group and create a mindmap of all the different foods or animals that eat that food and why they do. 

Here is an example. 

 

 

Group Activities

Red Group- Can you find out which animals can eat mice and why they eat them. 

Yellow Group- Can you find out what cats eat and why they eat what they do (you can choose which type of cat, tiger, lion or do a mixture of them all).

Green Group- Can you find out what foxes eat and why?

Blue Group- Can you find out which animals can eat grass and why they eat that?

Purple Group- Can you find out what mice eat and why?

Have fun with it, I will put one out every Wednesday for the next week.
