Elves Class
The Elves listened to a story about Allah asking the Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice a ram. We talked about how the festival of Eid Al-Adha is a festival remembering sacrifice. We then looked at a picture of a Mosque and the children observed the symmetry and the decorations. We looked closely at the moon and stars and talked about the importance of the lunar calendar in Islam. The Elves then cut out and decorated their own moon and star.
