Passover
In Hobbits we explored the festival of passover. We began the day with a retelling of the story of Moses. We explored his early life living with the Pharoh before hearing the call of God to free the Isralites. We explored the 10 plagues that Egypt suffered. We then discussed how the last plague on Egypt is where the name Passover over comes from. We created story maps of the events of the Passover story. In the afternoon we explored how Passover is celebrated today. We learnt about the Seder plate before creating our own.
