Stella Maris is a one form entry Catholic Primary School located in central Folkestone, and serving the parish of Our Lady and St Joseph, Folkestone.  We are one of 21 primaries and 5 secondaries that form Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership (KCSP) all of which are part of the Archdiocese of Southwark.

We are very much a family school and provide a caring atmosphere, an exciting curriculum, and great opportunities for all our children. Most, but not all, of our children are Catholics – those who do not share that faith still choose the school because of our family values and the work we do to teach the children about loving God and their fellow man. All the work of the school is based on five Gospel values and we have two simple school rules:

Love, Care, Share, Respect & Trust

Treat Others As You Wish To Be Treated

Act Sensibly At All Times

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have. It is always a pleasure to welcome prospective parents and you are warmly invited to visit the school.

''The school is very family orientated and encourages children to learn academically and gives them life skills.''

''Stella Maris is a safe and nurturing environment and the children all benefit from this, as can be observed from their learning to their behaviour.''

''It feels like a family at Stella Maris. My children are loved and cherished here.''
