Imps
Islam Day in the Imps
In the Imps class we looked at one of the five pillars of Islam, prayer. We looked at some pictures of some mosques and talked about how they are important places for Muslims. We also looked at some prayer mats, thinking about the patterns etc on them and the Imps then created their own prayer mat to take home. We also made some special Islamic biscuits to enjoy at the end of our learning. While we ate our biscuits, we shared the story called 'The Proudest Blue' which is all about wearing a hijab and about family.
