Wrap Around Care - Breakfast and After School
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are currently unable to offer wrap-around care at Stella Maris. Our Health and Safety Risk Assessment for Returning to School shows full details. As 'bubbles' cannot be mixed we are unable to provide Breakfast Club or After School Club.
We will of course keep parents informed of any changes as and when these become possible.
This runs from 8 a.m. until 8.30 a.m. every morning – afterwards the children join the others on the playground until the whistle blows at 8.45 a.m.
The children are looked after in the school hall by two of our Teaching Assistants, and are given a breakfast of cereal, toast and a drink. We ask that children using this club are at school by 8.15 a.m. if they wish to have something to eat at this session.
To take advantage of this facility, just turn up on the day – it costs £1.50 per session and you don’t have to book in advance.
This runs from 3:15 p.m. until 5 p.m. every day, and is based around the School House. The club is run by Mrs Barden, and there are always 2 Teaching Assistants on duty. The children are able to play outside when the weather permits, and they enjoy a drink and a light snack.
Places for the After-School Club do have to be booked in advance (by at least 48 hours). Please complete the form below with your requirements for each term and return to the school office at the start of each term. The cost is £6 per session. Booking is essential to comply with our safeguarding policy , ensuring sufficient staff cover.
A variety of activities is made available to ensure they are kept busy, and they have a great time!
Parents collect from the After-School Club via the Main Office, although if this is closed, there is an intercom on the outside of the office wall (by the playground entrance) that links directly with the school house for access.
