Daily Reflection: Our focus this week is 'Compassion'
Watch the video using the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t07s6K94c7E
Think about how compassion is shown in this video clip?
"Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:12
Good Morning Imps,
You are amazing! I cannot believe how hard you are working and it is wonderful that we get to see all of the pictures of your hard work. Keep emailing them to me!
Start of the day:
Listen to our good morning song to get ready for the day:
Listen to our crocodile snap song using the following link and get those hands ready:
It is really important this term that we really work on our letter formation. We are going to work on the letter h today, another tall letter!
Take a look at the following link to show you how this is written:
Remember you can either use your handwriting book or some paper from home to have a go.
Share a book with someone in your house, it could be your adult or a brother or sister.
Don’t forget to look at the following website for free books to read: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page/
Listen again to the story being read (this can be found in the video resource centre) to remind you of what happens. Talk through what happens in the story, trying to keep the events in order. In the resources below you will find a cutting and sticking activity where you will need to cut out the pictures (with adult supervision) and put them in the correct order. If you are unable to print the activity out, you could draw your own set of pictures to show what happens in the story.
Count to 20. Ask your adult to write or point to (using your space number line) to any number between 0-20. Can you recognise the number? Can you say the number out loud? Repeat the activity.
For this week we are going to continue adding numbers together. Watch the following video to remind you of adding numbers together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scvwSXku0HQ
Complete the adding of numbers worksheet found in the resources.
Revise your phase 2 sounds and the phase 3 sounds j, v and w. You will find a phase 3 sound mat in the resources below if you didn’t manage to collect a pack from school. Today we are thinking about a new sound ‘z’. Have a watch of the video to show you how this is pronounced correctly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6jgGvZ-3zQ
Can you draw something that begins with z? What are you going to draw?
Ask someone to help you to find out something about space. You could use a book, a computer etc. If you would like, you could email me your space fact!
