I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing Spelling Test in our first Zoom and a check in and gallery look at our Art so far in our second and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Today we are making our fairy tale into a comic. 

Comics tell a story through small sentences and lots of pictures. They are eye catching and tell your story. 

Use the template at the bottom of the page to help you or if you are up to the challenge create your own one.

Art

Today we are going to be looking at the finished portraits of the people you love most. 

 

If you are not able to attend the Zoom the think about why you created this piece and write a small paragraph about why you chose the person you did, why you chose the materials you did and how you feel about the finished piece of work.

 

In case you missed the task here is what you are going to be doing in art for the rest of the term. 

 

You are going to create a portrait using any materials you want. You could create a collage, painting, drawing, sketch or a mix of them all. It can be abstract, realistic, cartoon whatever way you want it to be. 

 

I want you to create a portrait of a person who means a lot to you. Someone who makes you feel special. Show off your skills, take you time and be patient this should not be done in one day you have two more Fridays to do it. 

 

I absolutely can't wait to see them!
