Good morning everybody and Happy Thursday smiley

Well done Elves for a wonderful week so far.

Below is an overview of the day for you. I hope to see everyone during our Zoom sessions and please feel free to organise all other teaching and learning activities around what suits you at home.

10am English (Zoom)

We are going to keep reading up to pg.14 of our class book 'Beegu' this morning. We are going to stop at this part of the story:

What is Beegu doing? Beegu is...

Who else is there and what are they doing? There are people around her but...

Why does she look so sad? Beegu looks sad and lonely because...

Use these question prompts to write a descriptive paragraph about what is happening in the picture.

We're Going On A Food Group Hunt!

Your task today is to go on a food group hunt! See if you can find some food in your house that belongs to each food group. You can decide how you would like to record this. Below is an example of how you could organise your learning. Draw around your hand, label each food group and then draw at least one item per food group. I can't wait to see your ideas! smiley
