Good morning Hobbits!

I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing Reflection and RE in our first Zoom and SPaG/GPS in our second and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Our theme in reflection this week is

The story is all about different kind of fairy tales.

Your Task is can you find out about one of the fairy tales in the story and create bullet points about what happens in that story.

Our focus this week is Addition and Subtraction. 

The worksheets are the bottom of the page you don't have to print it off you can just write the answers. 

You have 15 minutes to complete your sheet, take your time and think carefully. Don't forget about your presentation!

RE

Our topic is about the church year. 

Today we are focussing on the season of the church year. 

Will will be having a zoom at 11 where we will be going through the learning and I will be setting you the task if you can join. 

Your Task is to create a poster on parts of the Church year. Each group will be given a different focus and you must include:

• The colour that is shown in church and on our alters at school.
• When it is celebrated
• Any symbols that represent this time of year
• Any other information you find out about it. 

Group Activities

Red Group- Can you create a poster about the Major Feasts during Christmas. 

• The feast of the Holy family, Jesus Mary and Joseph
• The feast of Mary Mother of God
• The feast of Epiphany 
• The Baptism of the Lord

You can choose to do one, some or all of the feasts.

Yellow Group- Can you create a poster about Lent in the church.

Green Group- Can you create a poster about Easter in the church.

Blue Group- Can you create a poster about Christmas in the church.

Purple Group- Can you create a poster about Advent in the church.
