This morning we shall start our Zoom lesson at 9.30 with a short Reflection which will lead us into this morning’s learning.
(log in details were sent vis the App)
“Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
The start of this lesson will follow on from our Reflection on our 9.30 Zoom call.
Learning Objective: I know the people who help at Church.
I know that the Parish family gathers to celebrate mass with the priest on Sundays.
We’re going to think back to when we last went to church. What day of the week do people normally gather in church?
- Make a large outline of the inside of a church. Draw/paint all the furnishings to put into the church and label them, include the people at the door.
Today’s phonics session will be at 11am on Zoom. Please see log in details that were sent in an App message.
Please have a paper and pencil/pen handly or a whiteboard and pen if you have one.
Learning Objective: I can recognise, name and sort 2D shapes.
Watch the Sort 2D Shapes video and stop where it pauses to answer the questions.
Then complete the worksheet which is attached at the bottom of this page.
Learning Objective: I can create a sketch.
Look at this detailed sketch of Buckingham Palace. Tell a grown-up how you think the artist created it. What materials did he/she use?
Now can you create your own sketch of Buckingham Palace? Think about the light and the shade and what different effects pressing harder or softer makes.
Don’t forget you can email your art to me @ firstname.lastname@example.org and I can put your masterpiece in our Gallery.
