The start of this lesson will follow on from our Reflection on our 9.30 Zoom call.

Special People

Learning Objective: I know the people who help at Church.

I know that the Parish family gathers to celebrate mass with the priest on Sundays.

 

We’re going to think back to when we last went to church.  What day of the week do people normally gather in church? 

 

 

• Make a large outline of the inside of a church.  Draw/paint all the furnishings to put into the church and label them, include the people at the door.

Please have a paper and pencil/pen handly or a whiteboard and pen if you have one.

Learning Objective: I can create a sketch.

 

Look at this detailed sketch of Buckingham Palace.  Tell a grown-up how you think the artist created it.  What materials did he/she use?

Now can you create your own sketch of Buckingham Palace?  Think about the light and the shade and what different effects pressing harder or softer makes.
