It is really important this term that we really work on our letter formation. We are going to work on the letter t.

Use your handwriting book from your pack (if you managed to collect from the school office) and try and practice the ‘t’ letter. Don’t forget to use your crocodile fingers to hold the pencil. If you don’t have your handwriting book you can just use paper from home. Have a go! 

Reading:

Choose a book from your bookshelf at home and read it with your adult. Talk about what happened and the parts you liked? Do you have any space story books at home that you can read?

English:

Think about your work from yesterday and all of the items you thought of to take in your rocket. Choose your most favourite item (only one) and then write and complete the sentence “I will take…..”This will be one of your first sentences you have written in Imps so remember to leave finger spaces between each word as you write your sentence. You can draw a picture to accompany your sentence. 

Maths:

Complete the addition worksheet found in the resources. You will be using bigger numbers today so good luck and you can do it! Don’t forget to use counters etc to help you. 

Phonics:

In the resources you will find some CVC words. Can you try and use your sounds to read the words? Remember to sound out each letter and then put them together to read your word. 

Afternoon activity:

Create a toilet roll space alien. Or you could use any tube shape item to create the body of the alien.
