Wednesday
Reflection: Our focus this week is 'Honesty'.
Listen to the music below and think about how you feel when someone else is honest. How does it make you feel?
Maths:
Remember to use the interactive games, to reinforce your learning.
English:
How I made my shape poem
Phonics:
Today we are comparing sounds. Once we are back in class we will build sound families on a board. We have learnt that sounds (phonemes) can be the same, but have different letters (graphemes) when we write them, like 'aw' (paw) and 'or' (fork).
Investigate the different spelling pattern.
Topic:
In our Zoom at 11.30 am we investigated building techniques so that you can build your space rover over the holidays.
- We learnt how to fix a tube to a flat surface. Remember all of the little cuts.
- We learnt how to make holes and use split pins to make objects rotate.
- We learnt how to make an axel and axel holders so the axel rotates and the wheels go around. Remember your axel needs to be rigid.
- We learnt how to keep safe, ask an adult to help if you are using something sharp and use something soft behind where you are making holes.
- NOW ENJOY BUILDING!
