Learning Objective: I can make a story map.
Recap events in the story and then begin to create a story map to retell events.
(Please see the story map template attached at the bottom of this page.)
Today’s phonics session will be at 11am on Zoom. (Please see log in details that were sent in an App message.)
Please have a paper and pencil/pen handy or a whiteboard and pen if you have one.
Learning Objective: I can count forwards and backwards and write numbers to 20.
Watch the video on the link above and pause to think about the answers. You may want to count out 20 objects to help you.
(Below you will see a missing numbers document that you can fill in towards the end of the video. There is also a 10 frame attached.)
Learning Objective: I can talk about events beyond living memory that are significant nationally or globally.
Find out all about the Plague, how it affected London and the people at the time. Why was the Plague such an important time in history? Write down some facts about the Plague including what other name it was known by.
(There is a PowerPoint at the bottom of the page with some information and a rat border page for you to write on.)
Perhaps you could sing Ring o Ring o Roses and talk about why it has something to do with the plague. Click on the link above.
