Sit quietly for a few minutes and listen to some calming music.  Think about courage and what it means to pray.  You can think of a prayer to say with your grown up

After our Zoom lesson have a look at the Subtract by counting back Video and pause when instructed to answer questions 1,2 and 3.

Today we will be learning about the tricky words some, come, were and there.  We will be recapping previously learnt sounds including o_e, i_e, ey, oe, au, ew, ph, wh and the tricky words said, so, have, like, Mr, Mrs, looked, called, asked, people, their, oh

Watch and read the bathroom scene. Brainstorm key words together with your grown-up. Write in your own words what happened.

Learning Objective: I know what a computer is. I can discuss what makes up a computer.

 

Talk about the parts of a computer.  Look at the monitor- for displaying, tower/case – where the computer components are stored, keyboard – for inputting information, mouse – for moving the curser around the screen

 

Continue to practise of your keyboard skills too, either on a laptop or PC or on the keyboard function of an iPad.
