We're moving onto money now. Before looking at today's Maths, it would be a good idea to see what real money you have at home. Try looking in your piggybank or asking an adult. Check that you can recognise all the coins and familiarise yourself with them. Can you sort them? Don't forget to wash your hands after handling money!
Alternatively, have a go at this money game:
10am English ZOOM
Today we are going to use our Beegu story maps to retell the story in our own words. We will discuss how to make our writing FUN and INTERESTING during our Zoom call. Today is the day to WOW, WOW, WOW us!
11.30am Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar
Today we are going to be having some fun with alliteration!
Mysterious Mrs Mackell marched to the messy museum!
We're going to think of some fun, alliterative sentences using our names!
From the 29th - 31st January, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) are having their big garden bird count! This would be a lovely activity for you to join in with today (you will need to allow for one hour of bird watching)! Follow the link below for more information on how to be part of this (it is very straight forward!)
I would love to know how you get on! Make sure you report your findings to the RSPB.
Some brilliant bird activities
Can you find a story that has a bird in it? If you can - send us a picture of you sharing this with someone at home.
Wishing all our Elves and families a wonderful weekend. Hope you all have a well deserved rest after working so hard this week
Love from Team Elves xxx
