Thursday
Good morning lovely Elves!
It is wonderful to be reunited with you again even if it is virtually for the time being! I hear you've had a great start to the week with Mrs Ruiz - well done everyone
Please see below for an overview of the day. The times highlighted in blue will be "live" Zoom sessions. Other than these sessions, the timetable for the day is completely flexible so you can organise it around your family and work commitments.

Today you will be learning how to subtract a 1-digit number from a 2-digit number and crossing 10. Please follow the link below and select the fourth video. Watch the video and complete the activities as you go.

10am Reflection time & English (ZOOM)

10am English (Zoom)

Today we are going to read up to page 5 of our class text 'Beegu'. Beegu is trying to talk to the rabbits, a tree and the leaves but they can't understand what she is saying. Can you? Why not? How do you think this makes her feel? Can you think of three adjectives to describe how she might feel?
I would like you to:
Draw a picture of Beegu
What could Beegu be thinking?
Record this in a thinking bubble (do you writing first and then draw your thinking bubble around your writing!)
I have attached a template below but I would love you to be super creative and make your own.
I can't wait to see your ideas using our class email address: Classe20@klz.org.uk
I have also attached the lesson powerpoint below.
11.30am Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar ZOOM

2.10pm - EYFS/KS1 Assembly
2.45pm Storytime/quiet reading
Snuggle up with a grown up or sibling and share a book of your choice. It is very cold at the moment - do you have any stories that are set in Winter? If you would like to listen to a story, go to the school website:
Children > Video Resource Centre > Storytime for Elves where you can find me reading you "While We Can't Hug"
Well done for working so hard today Elves. Give yourselves a big pat on the back and I'll see you tomorrow for some Friday fun! Adults - don't forget to ping me an email with any learning from today. Thank you
