Friday Home Learning- Hobbits Class

Good morning Hobbits!

I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing Spelling Test in our first Zoom and History in our second and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Have a wonderful day.

Our theme in reflection this week is

Listen to this song and light a candle (with a grown ups permission) and take this moment to calm and quiet.

This time of year is Lent.

While listening to the song can you create a Prayer Doodle about strength.

Here is how to make one.

Today we are writing our poems. You will have two lessons to write your acrostic poem.

Think about how you want to present your work.

Here are some examples you can magpie from.

Take your time making sure your poem is about the word you have chosen down the side so it makes sense.

See you on Zoom at 11 for your spelling test!

Week 1 Spellings for all groups.

The new spelling are found in the term 4 folder!

Be ready with the numbers 1-10 down the side of your page and the date which is 26.02.21.

You will be checking your answers yourself and emailing me your scores.

  • Today’s Maths Learning

  • Try to do 30 minutes of Times Tables Rockstars- I shall be monitoring your progress!

Our focus this week is Activity Mats.

Work through the worksheet at the bottom of the page.

You can always mark your answers that are on page 2.

See you in Zoom at 1!

Our new topic in History is about Black History.

We are going to be celebrating some great people in History and what they did.

Today we are looking at Rosa Parks.

Here are some videos that tell you about what she did. - Horrible Histories Song - BBC Teach Dramatisation
