Griffins Class
Today, Griffins learnt all about worship. Worship takes place in the Mandir (temple). Mandirs vary in size, from small village shrines to large buildings surround by walls. People can also visit the Mandir at any time to pray and participate in the bhajans (religious songs). Hindus also worship at home and often have a special room with a shrine dedicated to particular Gods.
We were inspired by the Rangoli patterns you see inside Mandirs, and created our own - they looked beautiful! We also watched a video explaining Hindu worship and reflected on special places to us by creating art work linked to those.
