Book Week

1.03.21 - 5.03.21

Dear Pixies,

It’s Book Week this week so we’ve got lots of exciting activities to look forward to.  Please check Mrs Jessup’s letter on the Events section of this website, where you will see details of all the whole school events happening this week. (Details were also sent on the App.)

Competition time!!

This year’s Book Week competition is to bring a story to life inside a box in our “Story in a Box” competition.  Here is an example of one that Mrs Harrison has made.  It’s based on a story called Malice in Underland which was actually written by her sister! Again, check Mrs Jessup’s letter for further details.

I have planned in a Book Week activity every afternoon and Thursday is dress up time for World Book Day.  Again, see Mrs Jessup’s letter for details as it’s a bit different this year as the assembly will be on Zoom.

Finally, have a look on the Video Resource section of this website to see some stories read by some of our teachers and TAs! smiley

Book Week is also linked to our Lent fundraising this year – details are in the letter!

Have fun Pixies and get reading.  I’ll see you all on Zoom.

Lots of love

Mrs Felicetti
