Complete the space pencil control worksheet found in resources. Or you can use your pencil to create some swirly lines, trying to remember to hold your pencil correctly. Maybe you could use different colours to create your swirly lines? 

Reading:

Choose a book from home that you could read with your adult at bedtime today. Look carefully at all of the pictures and discuss what is happening. Can you sound out any of the smaller words? Maybe you could send a picture of you reading your chosen book. I wonder what you are going to choose?

English:

Think about our character Bob in our new book and how he travels to the moon everyday. Draw a picture of Bob on the moon and what he might see? Do you think he would see some aliens? Would he be able to see any other planets? Be as creative as you like in your picture, I can't wait to see them all. 

Maths:

Keep working on counting to 20. Can you count backwards from 20 to 0? That is really tricky, but you can use the number line found in the resources to help you if you like. 

Take a look at the Space I spy found in the resources and see if you can count the stars, the rockets, the aliens, the rocks, the rocks and the earths. Happy counting!

Continue to revise all of our phase 2 sounds, don’t forget you can find your phase 2 sound mat in Monday’s resources. Also don’t forget that j sound from phase 3! Use the following link to play the phonics game:

Afternoon activity:

Continue making those space rockets. Don’t forget to send in pictures of your rockets. I have absolutely loved seeing them so far!!! I wonder where they are all going to blast off to.
