Well done!

Well done to those children who had a special mention in yesterday's KS2 Celebration assembly.  This week those with a special mention were:

Evan Sh, Lucas, Marley and Kimi.

Well done to everyone else too, you are all doing so well during this difficult time.

Reflection

The theme for this week's Reflection is 'Courage'

“Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you

who hope in the Lord.”        Psalm 31 v24

Let's listen to this relaxing music this morning and think about how God can help us to be courageous, strong and brave.

From 1-7 February 2021 schools, youth groups, organisations and individuals across the UK are taking part in Children's Mental Health Week. This year's theme is Express Yourself. Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity.

How do you like to express yourself? - Through art, music and dance.....?

Below you will find a few fun activities that you might like to complete.

In our 1.30pm Zoom this afternoon we can talk about this special week, you can tell me if you have done any of the activities and you can tell us how you like to express yourself!

Earth and Space: Understand Why We Get Day and Night

In today's lesson you will get an understanding of why we get day and night.

Below are a couple of video clips for you to watch and a PowerPoint.

Whilst watching the videos and looking at the PowerPoint it might be a good idea to write some notes or draw some pictures, it might help you to remember the key points:

After the videos and PowerPoint, please have a go at completing the worksheet below.

You will see that there are 3 worksheets included, you can choose the one that best suits you - choose the one that you would like to complete - or of course, you can complete them all if you would like to!

Free Choice Activities

You can also choose to create something of your own choice that helps you to show your understanding of why we get day and night.  You could make a poster, create a PowerPoint presentation, do a labelled drawing.....  It's up to you!  You don't have to do this but you can of course if you want to and I'd love to see anything that you decide to do, so send pictures if you can!
