The Griffins had a great day learning about where Jewish people worship. We looked at some key Jewish vocabulary and some images of Jewish objects and wrote descriptions of them in our RE books. Two of our Griffins wrote a secret quiz on all our knowledge from Judaism day and tested us the next day! We had a virtual tour of a synagogue in America and the day culminated in us researching synagogues from around the world and designing our own. Mrs. Phelps showed us an amazing, yet sad, synagogue she had visited-where all the names from the people who had died in the Holocaust- were written on the walls.
