In the Elves class we learned about the festival Eid-Al-Adha, we listened to real life stories about the Muslim festival and how the festival of sacrifice is celebrated. Muslim families gather together for special meals, they wear their best clothes, say prayers and gift presents. For their special meal a goat or lamb is sacrificed and shared amongst the community. Muslims also give thanks and thank their God Allah for the blessings. 

The Elves made their own Eid celebration cards. Inside we wrote the blessings that we are all thankful for.
