I hope you have had a lovely weekend. I am really looking forward to seeing you today at 11.00 and 1.00 on Zoom. We will be doing English in our first Zoom and marking our History and going through any questions about the learning in the second.

Today we are writing our Problem of our own fairy tale. 

 

Your problem is going to be the most exciting part of your story. Something has happened and it needs to be fixed so you are going to explain how the problem has occurred. 

Has someone been caught?

Has your main character lost something?

Has something gotten broken? 

 

What else can you think of? Remember your amazing vocabulary and keep it as exciting as you can!

 

SPaG/GPS

We are focussing on adverbs.

Today we are focussing on adverbs to express Time, Place and Cause. 

Use your previous knowledge to help you. 

There is a worksheet at the bottom of the page you have 2 days to complete it so don't rush then mark your answers!

 

Practice Week 3 Spellings and get a grown up to test you for you Monday try at spellings. 

On Friday we will be doing the spelling test together for the final one so I can get your scores in Good Luck!

Our focus this week is Missing Numbers.

The worksheets are the bottom of the page you don't have to print it off you can just write the answers. 

You have 15 minutes to complete your sheet, take your time and think carefully. Don't forget about your presentation!

 

History/Computing

Our topic this term in History is the Victorians.

Today we are looking at Victorian Inventions.

Your task is to create an information pack about Victorian Inventions. If you are able to create it on the computer (don't worry if you don't have access you cans till use your research skill in Computing to find out the information). 

 

You need to include:

• A picture of the invention.
• It's name.
• When it was made.
• Who made it.
• What it is used for. 

 

Group Activities

Red Group- At least three inventions.

Yellow Group- At least three inventions.

Green Group- At least two inventions.

Blue Group- At least one invention.

Purple Group- At least one invention.

 

Make sure you read your book or a book from home and record it in your purple book.
