Wednesday 25th
Good Morning
Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well and keeping safe with your families. There is a new section at the bottom of the homework page where I am sharing all the work pictures, videos and everything else you are sending me. Make sure to check it out and see what we are doing even whilst apart!
If you haven’t already taken part, Joe Wicks is doing a brilliant wake up PE session at 9am every day. The link for it is here.

Be resilient! Be loving! Be amazed!
Reflection
Take time to just sit and be still today.
English
Reading – I would like everyone in your home to stop, sit and read a book quietly to themselves or with another person for 10 minutes. No talking, or sharing, just sit and everyone read. After 10 minutes find somewhere new to sit with a new person maybe and try again. Just enjoying being calm and quiet and reading.
Writing – We have read and explored the story of Pattan’s Pumpkin lots, but parents may not know the story. Below is the story being read to you to follow and listen too. After, I would like you to try and act out the story as best you can with the people around you. Be dramatic and have fun.

Maths
Arithmetic – Yesterday I am sure you all practiced counting and saying your 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Today I want you practice counting down not just up. Start at either 20, 50 or 100 and count down to 0 in each times table.
Investigation – attached below are some investigation cards into capacity. Can you try and answer the questions?
Science – We had just started to look at and explore plants in science. We hadn’t really been able to dig deep into the topic. So I would like you to mind map everything you know about plants. Remember that mind maps don’t just have to be words, they can have pictures, diagrams, printed out things, sticking, absolutely anything to show what you know about plants.
