Home Learning Activities for Wellbeing
This is a very strange and worrying time for us all - especially in supporting your children. You might be worried about coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is affecting your life. Worries may be around having to stay at home and avoid other people.
This might feel difficult or stressful. But there are lots of things you can try that could help your wellbeing.
We hope the links in this part of the Wellbeing section will provide some ideas to support your family with activities whilst away from school.
The Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) supports the material, relational and spiritual wellbeing of children and young people. During the Coronavirus crisis they have collaborated with the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM) to develop a series of videos on meditation which children and young people can participate in, whether in school or at home.
The Primary series are released each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Secondary series are released on Tuesdays and some Thursdays. They have just started to make them available and publicise them.

The days are getting longer and we know it can be a struggle to keep children busy and entertained in these very challenging times. Luckily nature always has an answer. So we’ve gathered some more activities we hope you’ll enjoy – either at home, in the garden or out on a walk while you enjoy some daily exercise as a family. Just remember to follow Government advice on social distancing though – it’s vital we all keep to the rules right now.
