I have attached the Home learning video links for the week below and please find the worksheet for today’s lesson attached with the documents below.
The weeks are flying by and I began to wonder how you are all feeling about starting your new schools. I have attached a new ‘Transition’ tab on our class page for you to access and there is a ‘Moving Up’ booklet. You may wish to read and complete this with the support of an adult at home.
Today I would like you to write down and think about the following…
- What do you think your new school will be like?
- List three things that you are looking forward to.
Can you spend some time researching your new school today? See if you can answer some of your own questions.
What book are you reading at the moment? Send Miss Moore an email to let her know if you can.
Spend some time at home reading a book of your own choice – find somewhere quiet to read. If you can, ask to read to an adult at home who ask you questions about the text.
Last week did you create a precept like Auggie’s English Teacher Mr Browne?
His October precept was ‘Your deeds are your monuments’.
I soon realised I have lots of lovely plaques, signs and posters in our classroom which are all precepts.
‘Do small things with great love.’
‘You’re amazing just the way you are.’
‘Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy.’
‘March to the beat of your own drum.’
‘When it rains, looks for rainbows. When it’s dark look for stars.’
Can you use your own precept and make a beautiful sign or plaque to display your precept on. This can also be just as simple as a postcard or poster. Maybe if you choose to do a postcard you could post it to a relative or friend?
Hope you all have a good day. Love, Miss Moore. xx
