Tuesday: Good Morning Unicorns,
What did the science book say to the maths book?
Wow! You’ve got problems!
Lesson 2: Multiply decimals by integers. Please follow the link to the video for today’s lesson: https://vimeo.com/418156804
I have attached the Home learning video links for the week below and please find the worksheet for today’s lesson attached with the documents below.
Please continue working through you 7-day-diary – or make a start if you didn’t get to yesterday.
Work through the activities on the PiXL PowerPoint –looking at the grammatical features of pronouns to aid cohesion. The PowerPoint is attached below for you. Read through the tasks carefully.
Some time reading a book of your own choice – spend 30 minutes quietly reading today.
Plus, I have also attached a new text for this week called – ‘The Slug’ (Ewww!) Can you read through this either independently or with an adult at home? Go through any unfamiliar vocabulary and make a note of word meanings that you do not know.
Today’s science is simple – have a go at the Science Assessment that I have attached for you on ‘Evolution and Inheritance' - Please do not worry, I am not going to collect marks or anything like that. All I would like you to do is have a go at answering the questions – on your own. Any that you do not know – leave blank. Try not to scroll to the bottom as the answers are there – I know I can trust you all . See how well you do – are there any areas you still need to work on? You can email me to let me know how you got on if you like : email@example.com.
Check out the ‘Kent School Games’ website – there are lots of ideas for fitness activities at home on this website. Check out the tab - #StayHomeStayActive.
I found this activity – called ‘make a chatterbox’ that I thought you would all like. https://www.kentschoolgames.com/stayhomestayactive/personal-challenge/21743/how-to-make-a-chatterbox – Follow the link and click on the file ‘How to make a chatterbox’ – a short video will appear for you to follow.
Hope the sun is shining for you all today! Love, Miss Moore. Xx
