Tuesday Home Learning- Hobbits Class
Create a piece of Black Out Poetry.
You will need:
- A Black Pen/Pencil
- A piece of paper with text on it whether it be a letter, a magazine, newspaper or leaflet (ASK PERMISSION BEFORE WRITING ON ANYTHING)
Step 1: Scan the page first before reading it completely. Look for interesting words that you like.
Step 2: Now read the page of text in its entirety. Use a pencil to lightly circle any words that you want to be involved in your poem. Avoid circling more than three words in a row.
Step 3: Colour in the whole page apart from the words you have chosen.
Step 4: Decorate the poem.

How does being in reflection feel?
Draw your reflection area and what it looks like, make sure to label the items in your picture.
Read your reading book for half an hour.
Sum up your book in one sentence. Make sure it tells me what the story is about but without writing lots and lots be concise and summarise.
