Daily Reflection and Music
Tuesday Home Learning – Pixies Class
This week I will upload your wonderful dancing video, so if you haven’t yet sent a clip and would like to take part, if you could send it asap, that would be wonderful. Have a great day today and don’t forget send any pictures , videos or messages to the Pixies email. We absolutely love seeing your work.
-Find a quiet space and read your favourite book for at least 10 minutes. Don’t forget, it you would like to read a story to the class or part of a story, send your video clip to the Pixies website. We have some Pixies already there reading you a story, you will find them under children, video resource centre.
-Think about our character from ‘Wild’ and about her surroundings. Use the pictures for ideas. Discuss what you see and what you would need to create a wild area.
-Use things you find outside and create a wild setting for our character. Can you create a wooded area, a forest or a jungle type place? Try to make it as interesting as you can, full of different things. It can be a picture, it can be in an old shoe box etc.
- Think about the sounds from the previous day au and aw. Can you say them correctly?
- Watch the video clips to remind you how these sounds are pronounced.
-Complete the aw word search found in resources.
-Quick recall of counting in 2’s, counting in 5’s and counting in 10’s.
-Think about the word arrays from the previous day and how these are pictures that help us with our number work.
-Complete the arrays worksheet found at the bottom of the page.
-Can you make your own arrays using object from your house or garden? Make arrays of 2, 5 or 10’s.
-Think about the choices we make and how sometimes we make the right choices and sometimes we make the wrong choices. Is it always easy to say sorry if we make the wrong choice?
-Can you make a banner with the word sorry on it? You can use whatever materials you would like and be as creative as you wish. We would love to see your creations.
-Have a think….do you always say sorry? Is it easy to say sorry?
