Have a short reflection to start the day.
Think about everything you have to be thankful for.
“In all things, give thanks.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Learning Objective: Links sounds to letters when segmenting and blending CVC words.
What is your favourite animal? Draw and write a label or sentence about your favourite animal.
Have a look at the Edinburgh Zoo webcam link and see whether you can see any animals being fed.
Apparently web traffic is slow due to demand but the Koala Bears are really cute if you get on the link!
Learning Objective: Using quantities and objects, they add and subtract two single-digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer.
Use your number line to help you, gather some objects and make a number equation by adding two sets of objects together. Can you remember how we act out the number equation using our fingers to show how many and crossing one arm over the other to make an “add” sign and then one arm above the other to make and “equals” sign. Teach your grown up how to do it! Why not take some photos and email them to Imps@stellamaris.kent.sch.uk !?
See what maths games you can find on https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/shows/numberblocks
Have fun looking in the MASC Charity post on Facebook and look at Kath's Krafts sessions that Mrs Langley has made. I have been trying these activities at home with Leo and Cara.
Also keep looking outside in the garden or on a walk for some of nature's treasures .
