Thursday Home Learning- Hobbits Class
I miss you all so much and would love to hear everything you have been up to. Can you send me an email (with your parents permission) to the Hobbits email?
I will be Zooming again on Friday and this will be an art lesson. I hope to see you then.
This week's theme is Encourage.
How could you encourage someone today?
Get your Reflection Shape.
Hold it and think in your head what does the quote and music make you feel.
Light a candle (with a grown ups permission) and listen to this piece of music.
This week we are going to focus on advertising. We will be looking at creating an advert for your book.
For the rest of the week I would like you to create your poster. Take your time on it. These need to be persuasive so that someone would be desperate to read your story.
Make sure you have fun with it!
- Today’s Maths Learning
Lesson 2 Summer Term Week 9- Watch the video and complete the questions in your books.
White Rose has changed now so if you follow the link you can still watch the lesson but the worksheet will now be a PDF at bottom of this page. Let me know if there are any issues.
Have a look on BBC Bitesize to help if you are stuck.
This week I would like you to work your way through a scavenger hunt.
Try and read some of/ a book which is in the scavenger hunt each day.
Listen to our class song again.
I would like you to rewrite the chorus. The chorus is the middle part of the song that gets repeated over and over again throughout the song.
Here is the chorus:
And I will, promise to kill
All the monsters in your dreams and in your head
So hold still and I promise to fill
All your waking days with happiness instead
The monsters will be dead
How can you make it more personal to you? If you want to challenge yourself record yourself singing it too.
Join in with Joe Wicks! He is doing live PE lessons on his YouTube Channel three mornings a week at 9am. Don’t worry if you miss it- they are available all day.
Or you can do a Cosmic Kids Yoga if you want to be more relaxed but still exercising.
Keep in contact I miss you all so much!
Lots of love,
Miss Storti xx
