Thursday: Good Morning Unicorns
Less than a second
The universe was born
The stars we see so clearly
Seem only a little far
But not quite
A seed breaks open
A new life
Here and now
Be outside this morning – breathe in the fresh air and feel the warm sun on your face. Be thankful for the Earth and think of all of God’s creations that you are thankful for: the sun, flowers, oceans, bees, rain etc. Maybe write a poem or a prayer that reflects how you feel.
Arithmetic: Choose an activity from the arithmetic activities tab.
Lesson 4: Volume of Cuboids. Please follow the link to the video for today’s lesson: https://vimeo.com/430339843
I have attached the Home learning video links for the week below and please find the worksheet for today’s lesson attached with the documents below.
How have you got on with your spellings? Is there anyone at home who can help you learn or practise your spellings today? Remember it is week 1 and week 2 from the sheet, I gave you on Monday.
Spend 30 minutes reading a book of your choice. – The weather has been beautiful all week so you may enjoy this outside.
Carry on with our class text ‘Wonder’ for the rest of the week – can you read up to pg. 118 Part Three ‘Summer’.
For children following the text at home you can access an online copy of the book from the following link: https://fliphtml5.com/zfltu/ulmz/basic
Today we will be zooming as a whole class at 11:00am. This is scheduled to just last an hour. We will be having another fun Year 6 Quiz. Please see your parent’s app messages for details on how to join in with the zoom call. Mrs Harrison is joining us too and will be hosting the call. Cannot wait to see you all!
Hope you all have a great day! Love, Miss Moore. xx
