Spend some time today designing some revision cards for English terms – this cards can be completely personal to you and something that you maybe use in preparation for secondary school. You can keep them safe and refer back to them.
I have attached some information from PiXL in today’s documents to help you with the different terminology you may wish to revise. For example, you can make cards for the different word classes or types of punctuation.
Spend 30 minutes reading a book of your choice.
Reading comprehension task: The Listeners. Attached in the documents below – read the poem carefully and answer the comprehension questions. You can check your own answers once you are finished.
Have a go at the ‘Around the World’ quiz. It is attached below in today’s documents – let me know how you get on? If you are finding the quiz questions too tricky then you could maybe research some of the answers online and write down the new facts that you learn.
