Thursday: Good Morning Unicorns
Reflection – Peace.
This activity should take 5-10 minutes and it is called ‘Smile into the Body’ it is a brief sitting practice.
Allow any thoughts – whether good or bad – pass by you like a cloud in the sky. Sit on the floor with your legs gently crossed (if you can). Join the hands with both thumbs, and the fingers of one hand resting in those of the other. Focus on your breathing and allow your body to breathe itself. When you feel settled, close your eyes and sit like this for a while and simply ‘be still’, in the moment. When you feel completely relaxed, gently smile and keep your whole body still and gentle.
To finish this activity have a go at some mindfulness colouring in a quiet space outside to ensure your head is completely clear and prepared for the day ahead.
A BODMAS activity for you this morning – answer the questions and match to the answers on the worksheet. The worksheet has been added to today’s documents for you below.
