Daily reflection

Daily reflection 1
Happy Thursday to our lovely Pixies. We hope you are enjoying the extra time you are spending with your family this week and sharing some of your wonderful learning with them.

Let's sing our Good morning song!

Who would like to join in with you?

English

We have been working on the middle part of our stories "Mrs Huotari's scarf". Please continue your writing today. Can you include at least 4 different places in Folkestone for the scarf to travel to?! You can add illustrations too.

Remember:

smiley Capital letters and full stops (exclamation marks if you would like!)

smiley Finger spaces and neat handwriting

smiley Sound out really carefully

smiley Use some interesting words in your writing

heart We will write the end of our stories tomorrow and we thought we could perhaps email some of them to Mrs Huotari herself to make her smile! So try your very best Pixies heart

It must be time for Phonics!

Join in - you know the moves!

Now practise spelling our tricky words:

said, so, have, like

smiley Can you think of a fun way to practise them?! In some sand, with paint, using chalk or with felt tip pens! Ask an adult to help you and please email us any pictures so we can all share ideas!

smiley Write each word in a simple sentence!

Maths

You would never believe that Paddington Bear rang yesterday to ask who has the most socks in Pixies class?! I'm so glad you have been practising counting in 2s this week! Can you count how many socks you have (in steps of 2 of course!) and whenever you send us an email next, do let us know! Could you record this in pictures and label with 2s numbers? Be sure to get all your numbers the right way round!
