Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and had the best weekends possible. This is our last week of home learning as from next week I welcome the vast majority of you back to school. I hope you are all looking forward to it as much we are in school. I sent out the zoom invites yesterday for this week, please get in touch if you have not received them.
Our final reflection theme for the week is on success and achievement.
Guided Reading – I have put the last of the Pirates of the Caribbean comic up below. I hope you have enjoyed reading it and exploring what comic strips look like.
Writing – We are going to have one project to last us the week in writing. We are going to bring together the learning over the last 2 weeks to create our comic books. We are going to use the story maps and written stories to create our comic books. I have uploaded a large range of templates for you to use. Remember that comics use bright colourful pictures, little written storytelling and lots of speech bubbles and talking.
Arithmetic – I have 3 cubes in a row. How many edges, vertices and faces are there in total?
Challenges – We are moving back to another topic we have already looked at, which is measure. We are going to be exploring using cm and rulers today. The video to support today’s challenges is here https://vimeo.com/430299105 and the challenges are below.
RE – We are going to end our treasure topic today. I want you to know that everyone at school and especially Mrs Truett, Mrs Blackie, Ms Dickinson and I treasure you all. We have valued all the time we have had together this year. What have treasured this year the most? Create anything at all to to show you have treasured this year in school the most.
