Towards the end of last week, we started to look at respect, kindness and discrimination. These are themes also found in our class text ‘Wonder’. The learning clip above explains that all poems have a subject. I would like the subject of your poem to be ‘Kindness’. Plan your poem carefully – try not to do an acrostic poem – we have used those a lot before.
Reading our class text ‘Wonder’. ‘Lunch’ to ‘Mr Browne’s October Precept’. (pg 49-65)
For children following the text at home you can access an online copy of the book from the following link: https://fliphtml5.com/zfltu/ulmz/basic
