Good Morning Unicorns,
Did you know...?
A hippopotamus can run faster than a man.
Hope you have all had a happy and safe weekend. Hope you enjoy the activities and learning I have planned for you this week. Don’t forget to check out the daily reflections tab for each week.

Arithmetic: today I have some percentages for you to work out. See the documents below.
Please follow the link to Lesson 1: Step 6 – Calculating scale factors. Follow up the lesson with the activity too. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/
Please watch the short video clip called ‘Alma’. https://www.literacyshed.com/alma.html
Be warned – it’s a creepy one! I think you will all love it. Firstly, can you watch it without the sound? Next, watch it again and this time with the sound. You can watch it several times if you wish – make some notes about what you think, what words come to mind when you watch it. For example: eerie, creepy, trapped, monstrous etc.
Use the PowerPoint attached with today’s documents – answer questions 1-6 in your exercise book.
If you have trouble opening the documents email me directly: email@example.com
