Miss Baker's Weekly Newsletter
I hope you have all been enjoying the glorious sunshine- I wonder if many of you heard the thunder storm on Friday morning or if you slept through it?!
It has been lovely seeing even more of you over the past week. I have been made to feel very welcome and it has been so lovely seeing you in person- of course it was lovely getting a glimpse of a future Stella Maris pupil too!
I believe many of you have signed up to return for a couple of days during the last week of term. I am very excited by this! It will be lovely to finish the year together and say goodbye before you make the transition to Year 5.
This week I have been feeling very nostalgic- Which is a feeling “of sentimental longing or wistful affection for a period in the past”. I have been thinking about all the children I have taught over the past 10 years. I know I will never forget the class I had during the Covid-19 Pandemic! It probably does not help that this week I purchased a kitchen from ebay. It is from 1959- so is 61 years old!
It may need a little bit of TLC, which will be my summer holiday project. What projects will you get up to over the summer?!
