Miss Baker's Weekly Newsletter
I hope you have had a lovely weekend!
I have really enjoyed coming to see many of you last week. I may have a tear or tear as I left- I really have missed you all! We have had some lovely chats and it was so good to see you in person- even from a 2-metre distance! I am looking forward to seeing more of you this week too! I’d love to see the whole class so if you have not yet emailed me to arrange a time for me to pop by to say hello- please do!
I know we are quickly working our way to the summer holidays- but please do try and keep motivated and try your best- and help your grown-ups!! Megan was very grown up the other night and told me (amongst a few tears) she had been secretly playing instead of doing her home learning. I told her I was very proud for being honest and together we came up with a plan/ timetable to get her back on track! In the evenings, we now have lots of “learning chats” about all the things she has done. She has taught me all about The Great Fire of London which I think you all learnt about in Year3?!
This week I am looking forward to going to a Charity Shop at the weekend- if any are open!
