Dear Dragons and Dragon Grown- ups:
I hope you are all keeping safe and well and enjoyed the weekend.
I have been thinking about all the things I miss in the classroom recently and the thing I miss the most is the laughter! We were always laughing! So to try and make up for it at home I have been telling lots of awful jokes and being a bit silly. Laughing always makes me feel better. That and spending time in my garden now that I have cut the grass!
There has been lots of reports in the media about when schools will go back- I wish we knew more but sadly we know just as much as the general public! I have received a few questions about how we will go back and will it be with the same teacher and I am afraid I just do not know. What I do know is that Stella Maris is amazing and will support everyone for a smooth transition. And you are all amazing and will be fine however we come back!
In other news… my one pupil (Megan) has resorted to going to school in her pyjamas. I have decided not to give her a coloured slip as to be honest I am grateful she turning up for her lessons. I have had to brush up on Year 7 History but I think it is going well. I also let her make some cookies all by herself which went less well- lots of cleaning!!!
Finally, it is a bank holiday on Friday so I will be setting work Monday- Thursday this week!
