Lots of insects will be starting to come out as the weather gets warmer. Can you find any creatures in your garden or when you go out for a walk. Maybe you can read a book about insects or other creatures that live all around us or search on the internet for images.
Learning Objective: Segments CVC words and uses appropriate letters to represent sounds in their writing.
Draw some insects and write labels for them.
Learning Objective: Using quantities and objects, they add and subtract two single-digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer.
Subtracting today but as yesterday, use your number line to help you, gather some objects and make a number equation by subtracting one set of objects from a bigger set. Can you remember how we act out the number equation using our fingers to show how many and pulling one arm across our body to make a “take-away” sign and then one arm above the other to make and “equals” sign. Teach your grown up how to do it! Why not take some photos and email them to Imps@stellamaris.kent.sch.uk !?

Make some Easter Crafts
If we were at school, today would be the last day before breaking up for the Easter Holidays. The holidays are two weeks long. Keep practising your reading and if you get up to anything fun then maybe you could make a little Easter diary, you could then photograph this to send to me or even make it digitally. Most of all have fun and stay inside as much as possible to keep safe.
