Good morning Griffins,
Thanks to those of you who joined in with the zoom science yesterday.
The resources are at the bottom of today's learning, have a look.
Don't forget there is a zoom assembly at 10am for KS2.
Have a lovely weekend x
Having courage is important in difficult times. When did you or someone close to you last show courage?
Think about what it means to be courageous as you listen to the music.
Today complete the BBC Bitesize Friday challenges. The challenges are arranged so that they increase in difficulty as you work through them.
The most suitable questions for Year 5 are 1 to 5. But why don’t you work with your family on the rest of the problems. Do as many as you can! Help each other out.
The question and answer sheets can be found at the bottom of this page.
Another Friday challenge for you!
Work your way through this lesson form the BBC Bitesize site from the 24th June.
Write a 24 word story in 7 minutes, now that is a challenge!
Find all the learning here:
There is no other lesson for today, just have a look at the science resources (below) and catch up with any learning you may have missed.
Have a lovely weekend.
Science (resources from the Zoom call yesterday)
After the technical issues yesterday I have uploaded the activity sheet in the resources below. This has the science behind the activity and some key questions.
Here is the video I wanted to show you about the definitions and difference between weight and mass:
Density is a word we use to describe how much space an object or substance takes up (its volume) in relation to the amount of matter in that object or substance (its mass). Another way to put it is that density is the amount of mass per unit of volume. If an object is heavy and compact, it has a high density.
