Small World -Encourage children to use sticks, stones, mud and leaves to make small worlds for toy people and animals. E.g. to make a stick fort or an outside habitat for wild animals.

Learning Objective: Children count reliably with numbers from one to 20, place them in order and say which number is one more or one less than a given number. Using quantities and objects, they add and subtract two single-digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer.
Line up sticks, leaves, stones and other natural resources. Count them to find a total and then count on from a given point.
