Being thoughtful for life, for people and gifts, is a vital part of our relationships with one another. When praise and appreciation are experienced, we are enabled to relate on a deeper level.
Learning Objective: Discover what activities children and families like to do together.
Listen to some gentle music to think about the following:
- Talk about the activities that are better done together. What makes them better?
- Play a game together. Discuss with a grown up how you enjoyed it because you played together.
Think about all of the things you are looking forward to doing with your friends when we are all back together again.
Perhaps you can draw yourself playing with your friends?
Finish with a prayer thanking God for giving us friends and family to enjoy playing with and sharing other activities with together.
Remember to start by saying “In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
Practise saying single letter sounds (phonemes) in sets:
1. s a t p
2. i n m d
3. g o c k
